If there's any guarantee in Apple events, it's that the internet will alwayswalk away with a good meme.

This year's "Spring Loaded" event is no exception, and among exciting releases like the Bluetooth-tracking AirTag, a new iPad Pro, and more importantly, iMacs in an array of new colors, Apple also served us with yet another meme.

Apple announced that the new iPad Pro would not only have 5G connectivity, but also the powerful M1 chip that makes it (according to Apple, at least) 75 times more powerful than the first generation iPad.

The announcement came through a spy thriller-like video in which the main character breaks into the Apple campus, navigates its convoluted ventilation system, and narrowly avoids falling into a web of lasers. (Because apparently Apple's campus is tricked out with a laser alarm system specifically to protect its room full of MacBooks.) Rather than commit some great heist, our protagonist sneaks into another room, and inserts the M1 chip he took from the MacBook into the iPad. Then he pulls off his face, and surprise! This agent is actually Apple CEO Tim Cook.

I personally walked away from this video with way too many questions left unanswered. Why wasn't there an alarm system in the iPad room? Why is Apple CEO Tim Cook breaking into his own campus? Does he not have the keys to just use the front entrance?

Twitter, on the other hand, could not get over this screenshot of Tim grinning down upon his newly souped-up iPad Pro. It's ripe for reaction memes.

Obviously, we had to jump on the bandwagon too.
