We know all men must die and everything, but surely at least someof them have to make it through the full eight seasons of Game of Thrones?
Well, if Sophie Turner's new tattoo is anything to go by, maybe -- just maybe-- some will make it through unscathed.

Yep, that's Sophie Turner -- aka Sansa Stark -- she's tagged in that post. And that's a big old tattoo of the House Stark direwolf, paired with a section of a well known Game of Thronesquote: "When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies but the pack survives."
The point is, it's only the last bit of that quote that's included in the tattoo -- a fact some fans suspected may be a spoiler for the show's final season.

First, is this definitely Sophie Turner in the photo?
We don't have photographic proof, but it appears so. Mashablereached out to tattoo artist Lauren Winzer, who posted the photo, and she confirmed over email that it is indeed Sophie Turner in the image. We also reached out to Sophie Turner's representatives, and will update this post if they respond.
What we also know is that Sophie Turner and her fiancé Joe Jonas were indeed in Sydney -- where Winzer's studio is based -- at the time she posted the photo.
Here's a picture of them together in North Bondi, Syndney, which was posted on Instagram four days ago:

It's also worth noting that Winzer shared another Instagram post of several tattoos she'd also apparently given Joe Jonas -- so it looks like the two of them may have visited her studio to get their tattoos done together.

So is it really a Season 8 spoiler?
Maybe, maybe not. On the one hand it's possible that the wording of Turner's tattoo suggests the remaining Starks -- or at least some of them -- will survive until the end of the show.
On the other hand, though, it might mean nothing at all. Turner might simply have got the tattoo to mark the ending of her time on the show. She might have picked that quote because she likes it, or to indicate that she'll keep seeing her Game of Thronesstars even after the show finishes. It could mean a whole bunch of different things.
Still... maybe -- just maybe-- it's an early hint that things might turn out okay for the Starks after all.
They certainly deserve a break.
